Brown Defeats Queens
Division I Champions

On Saturday, December 10th at Aveva Stadium in Houston, Texas, Brown accomplished something never done before by Brown Men's Rugby, they won the National Collegiate Rugby Men's Division I Championship making them the best of the best. This team, plagued by missed seasons due to Covid, worked hard to maintain their strength, build their team, and come out victorious against a very stong Queens team with a 21-5 win!  But let's be clear, this victory stands on the shoulders of all those players that came before them, building the program, and creating the foundation that made this possible.

In a close game, that showed both teams' power and ability, the Bears demonstrated a focused play that allowed them to depend on their set pieces, score tries, and even at the try line, hold up their opponent from scoring, highlighting their strong defense.  The team remains undefeated for the XVs season, celebrating their victory and their place in the long history of Brown Men's Rugby.
